Can Mid-Calorie soft drinks put fizz back in the American Soda market?
Wall Street Journal recently reported the launch of mid-calorie sodas by both Coca-Cola and Pepsi Co. With ongoing pressure to tackle obesity crisis, beverage companies are rapidly adding lower serving size pack to regular and zero calorie product portfolio. The mid-calorie offerings continues to extend that trend of offering more options to lower caloric intake.
